Material Optical Compound Microscope

Widefield microscopy refers to techniques where the whole specimen is exposed to light.Typically, it is used for viewing samples at high magnification (25x- 1000x), which is achieved by the combined effect of two sets of lenses: the ocular lens (in the eyepiece) and the objective lenses (close to the sample).The image seen with this type of microscope is two dimensional. ZEISS Axiolab A1 With Axiolab 5 POL

Polarization contrast lets you characterize hair, earth and fiber microstructure in forensic examinations of criminological samples. You analyze lacquer and paint chips using brightfield, fluorescence and polarization microscopy. If you work as a geologist, you examine rock sections and mineral samples, for example, for oil production. In environmental protection, you identify the microstructure of materials such as asbestos fibers.

AxioImager 2 for Polarization for Research Task

Conoscopy: Fast and Reliable Crystal Analysis with Polarized Light Microscope
Capture orthoscopic and conoscopic image information simultaneously with Polarized Light Microscopy. With the specially designed Pol phototube, object, cross hairs and iris diaphragm are visible at the same time, thanks to an additional intermediate image plane. Thanks to the adjustable iris diaphragm this is also true for the limits of the conoscopic range down to a minimum crystal size of 10 µm. The pre-centered Bertrand optics are straightforward to turn on and off. This allows you to switch between techniques fast – even while capturing images or using a video device.
